What is the medicine used for:
For relieving dry cough symptoms due to irritation mucosa of the upper and lower respiratory tract in some diseases such as common cold, flu, tuberculosis, pertussis, measles, pharyngitis, laryngitis,tracheitis, tracheobronchitis, pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, excessive smoking, inhalation of irritating substances.
What is in the medicine:
Each tablet contains:
Dextromethorphan HBr 10 mg, Chlorpheniramine Maleate 1 mg, Sodium Citrate 133 mg, Ammonium Chloride 50 mg, Glyceryl Guaiacolate 50 mg
How much and how often should you use this medicine:
Orally, every 6 to 8 hours or as prescribed by the physician.
The maximum treatment duration mainly for reducing symptoms should not exceed 7 days.
Adults and children more than 12 years old: 1 – 2 tablets/ time, maximum 4 times / 24 hours
Elderly: same as adults dose.
Patients with liver impairement: avoid or reduce dose as the product contains dextromethorphan
Patients with kidney impairement: avoid or reduce dose as the product contains chlopheniramine
